How Do I Get 360 Waves?

I am african and my hair's breadth is different from other black guys.
I tried brushing for hours and using Lsuter's S-Curl Span & Gel, Sportin Waves, AP Aunthentic, 360 style and using different waves caps, stocking caps and su rags and I STILL CANT GET WAVES?

What can I do?
What am I doing foul?

Well, blacks have separate hair types. How your hair curls or waves depends on how loose your curls are. I have a nephew who has a bit loose curls and when his hair is in a short cut it's completely straight. I have another nephew who has waves like the deep blue sea and this is because his natural curls are tighter.

I'm thinking your hair is probably straight when cut quick which I'm not sure there's anything you can do to get waves besides using a chemical wave kit. I've heard of some people using gel to dream up the wavy look and then using holding spray to keep it in place....

[Edit] If the S-curl isn't working, then I'm not convinced what will because a lot of naturals use S curl gel to define their natural curls. You're trying to create a separate hair type than you naturally have.

Here's an example of someone who defined her waves with gel, her hair is cut elfin and she has tight curls. When she slicks her hair back with the gel she's actually stretching her natural curls which is creating the wavy look. If you lack waves like this then you'll have to have hair that's close to her curly texture. Click on the Photo Albums identify with on the left-hand side and she has a section with the products she uses to get her hair looking like that.

I deliberate on you would look hot with the Katie Holmes hairstyle but it's a lot harder to manage because you'll have to blow dry your trim every day!
Otherwise Kelly Clarkson's hairstyle is nice as well.

How To Get Selena Gomez's Hair Style From Another Cinderella Story?

I in the final analysis like her hair in Another Cinderella Story. It's kinda a bedhead hair look. I was wondering if anyone could give me any tips on how to do this to my hair's breadth. I pretty close to the same cut and length and texture. Please don't tell me to take a shower go to bed and then wake up. Show one's gratitude you!!!

It appears that she did a compare favourably with technique to this:
After blow-drying hair upside down (for volume up top), straighten (if curly and inevitable) or if already straight, leave as it.
Spritz it with a little hairspray.
Heat up a 1 and 1/2 to a 2 inch curling iron.
Take adventitious sections of hair, and very loosely wrap around the iron. This should give you a loose curl, or uprising.
If necessary, use a pic to run through the curl, making it looser/ more natural.
Run through it with your fingers, and hairspray to confine.

My locks is pretty much exactly like hers but when i tried it, it just look really curly... can someone assist me please?

If you find it too curly, then don't put off the iron on it as long (if that's what you used). Or just mess up the hair while it's still hot to make the curl unravel a bit. You could also try a larger barrel curling iron.

You could also try this system: point the tip of the iron to the ground and wrap sections of hair around the barrel with your fingers without using the fastener. This works for me.

Any suggestions on how to get curls to look like hers?

I would guesswork a spiral curling iron. her hair is pretty long, so it might take awhile to get the whole magnitude to curl like that.
