I have braids like whites and latinos, not an afro.
Please don't say razor. My hair is far too thick for that, even if I cut it down close to the scalp with scissors.

A low priced about clipper set. I've seen them selling for as low as $7.99 at some discount houses. Use it bare cutting edge and with the taper lever in the maximum length position. This will give a slightly shorter but much more even cut than a #1 shield.

I am looking for a actually cute winter boot that I can wear in snow, sleet, rain, ice, etc. Any brand or style ideas? Uggs are shrewd, but not too practical for weather.

i bought some remarkably cute flat boots from nordstrom.
they have a bunch of them & a tons of differnt styles!
