I am active to prom soon, and need to schedule for a hairdo. I got behind and now my local small township salon is booked. I am currently arguing with my mother how long it takes to style hair (for scheduling purposes). I have long hair's breadth (several inches past shoulder length) and due to it's thickness my hair is notoriously stony-hearted to style. About how long would it take to prepare my hair for prom?

it depends on how intricate you're doing your hairstyle. if it's just curling it, then i'd give yourself about an hour. if you're doing some kind of updo or something, i'd mark aggressive it about 2 hours. it can't hurt to give yourself a little more time than you think you need--it's better than contest late!
What Are Some Cool Ways To Style Long, Straight Hair With Side Bangs?

I have comely long (like halfway down my back kind of long), relatively straight hair and I'm always looking for new ways to style it. I also have side bangs that go to the pink.
One of my favorite things to do with it is wash it at night, dry it and then put it in either two or three long braids and take it out in the morning.
Any ideas?

I have that exhaustively hair, and left side bangs too.
Here is what I do. I generally straighten my hair, with a flat iron. A gear kind to use to Chi. Another thing I do is scrunch. Here is how to do it:
Take a shower, and wash your hair. Shampoo and proviso it.
When you get out, squeeze your hair with a dry towel, making your hair damp. You might have to even dry it with a hair dryer for 1 record to make it a little bit dryer. Now, the scrunching gel that I recommend is Garnier Fructis Curl Scrunch Gel [uncommonly strong]. Put a quarter sized amount in your hand, bend your head over leaving your hair's breadth falling towards the ground, and scrunch the gel with your fingers into your hair. You may have to do this repeatedly until it really scrunched. Then you can dry it with a whisker dryer for 30 seconds. I usually clip my side bangs to the left, keeping it off of my eyes, or over on top of my forehead.
I have long, unembellished hair that goes about 3 inches past my shoulders. I used to have bangs and now they're long enough to tuck behind my ear - I'm current to cut them when the weather is cooler since now I push my hair off my face anyway in this heat. I have a few layers on the side but I get like my style is boring. I'd also like to style it so it can air-dry and still look good. Since my hair is on the finer side, it normally ends up looking limp if I do that. I like myself with longer hair but wouldn't be in touch with oneself decide cutting a few more layers into it or about 2 inches at the most. Any suggestions on what I can do or how I can cut it?
my skin of one's teeth is the same way except it's below my butt. Just pull it back in a sloppy bun. It looks cute.
