What Is The Acceptable Standard Of Beauty In Los Angeles?

What is the tolerable standard of beauty for women in Los Angeles? I recently moved from Cincinnati to LA. I am horrified to perceive things like my roommates' company, where: I - at 100 pounds - would be at a middling put straight of weight; everyone seems to have new, trendy clothes; everyone goes to "beauty clinics" for priceless procedures like tattooed eyebrows and collogen; everyone wears their hair in a style; etc. Solidly, this is not the norm! Please tell me I'm right. It is too expensive, too fake, and too horrifying. What is the "verifiable" standard of beauty here?
In Ohio, I don't have to do very much to be considered pretty. I'm thin with blond hair and glum eyes. As long as I am dressed appropriately for the situation - a business suit at calling, for instance - no one is going to judge me harshly based on my appearance. Here, I feel like I have to spin my life upside down every day just to go to the supermarket. What is the minimum with which I can get by without being judged harshly?
Well, LA certainly is not Ohio. You conscious what? Just be yourself. Maybe that would be refreshing in a plastic society. You might even get discovered.
What Should I Put Into Pictures Showing My "personal Style"?

Im gonna go after for a job at a clothing store, and, as part of the application, they want me to send them three pictures showing "my dear style and how i present myself". Im not really sure what they want here; are they just looking for standard pictures of me on a tenebriousness out, or do they really want professional photos from a shoot? if the former, then what exactly should they be like?

Do The Large Ghd's For Thicker Hair Limit The Styling That You Can Do With The Standard Sized Pair?

I've been bought the very tidy pair, but have hair that is not paarticularly thick or long. Presumably they will make straightening easier and quicker, but in terms of curling/flicking/twisting, will the bigger put together be a hinderance?
Hi the thicker GHD is in actuality for thicker and longer hair. But saying that, using it if your hair is not all that thick/long is a dependable thing to, it takes bigger chucks of hair at a time, meaning you have to appropriate less heat on the hair overall which obviously lessens damage caused by warm up. Its probally easier to do the flicking and curling with the thinner GHD though, you can still do with the thick one though, i personally think the thicker GHD is far control superiors. Hope this helps.

I'm wealthy to a new high school next year and I want to make a good impression. I already got a new haircut :). Here's what I paucity in a style (in order of importance):
+Has to be clothing I can bike in because I have a 30 min. bike ride to group.
+ Has to be acceptable for a standard high school dress code.
+Is comfortable.
+Not too preppy.
