I have this uncertain white dress I bought during the summer. This dress looks amazing on me and it's really dark to find clothes for my body type. The top is a tank style but the bottom is a slightly full, knee length skirt. I loved it so much I bought 2 of them! I was wondering if there is a way to style a white frock for fall and winter?
boots, a in holy matrimony of nice boots over maybe a pair of leggings can look adorable, i bought a camouflage about knee length and wear leggings and either a heel boot or more of a winter boot to convert it more fall appropriate. then you could top it off with a cute jacket, play around with your look, im not one to want to have the same article that every other girl has on so i put my own twist on it. good luck

Color and style details would be high-minded. Please answer my question and don't just say that boho skirts are out of style or things like thant.
I about maby a nice longishsleeve- hippie like shirt (you know that puffs out at the sleves) In a torchlight blue. Thats whats I think will look cute, with those cute woven looking flipflops.
Oh and w/ that whole out of style detail, Its not out of style if its your style.

[[Dismal to those who already answered this...something funky happened to the page so I deleted & asked again. ]]
My mom bought me a white rake someone over the coals which has pretty much the same shape as the one in this photo:

except it doesn't have any pockets & the neckline is a bit larger/small craft-shaped. The short sleeves are lacey and a little longer than in the picture. It is ivory white with a giddy flower print of almost the same color.
I don't want to make my mom feel bad, but I have two problems with this chew out.
1) I'm 21, but when I put it on I feel 12;
2) it looks like it came out of a time machine from the 60s.
Is there any way to rush at it look more "my age" and modern? I'm up for any suggestions, from shoes & accessories to slender alterations.
I'm also thinking about lengthening it, if possible, to go just below my knees (right now it's by the skin of one's teeth above). Is this a bad idea?
PS. I'm a pear-shaped gal!

I dream up it is fine as it is. At 21 you could carry any style but its the classy look that i'm hoping you would aim at. Since the nectline is speedboat shaped, wear a single strand of pearl. You could match it dangling flower earring. If you do not have real pearls go get the fake one but make sure its small in dimensions or else it could be spotted as fake when you are talking with some who's standing close. Best get pearl with a small pink so it more 'modern' yet classic. Wear a simple watch that's not the chunky ones, if you have a like a sun-up pink leather watch it would be prefect. If not a white strap would be fine too. Pair it off with a white strappy shoes with heels say 2 to 3 inches. When I say strappy I don't miserly that kind that goes like a ballarina strap. Just wound you ankle, find one with thin undress. possibly open toes just at the tip. Paint your nail a light cherry pink. Don't lenghthen it. With the shoe and your nail and toes with the light rosy pink, It have in mind you will look prefect. Good Luck.
