Im universal to a 70s fancy dress party and I need some help. What should I wear, I'm not very good on the 70s. I was wondering whether there were any distinct figures, either from songs/ films, real life that I could be recognisable as if I dressed up as them. It's for my most beneficent mates birthday, so I do want to make an effort for her. Thank you

There are lots of things you could weary... thinking about "disco" or psychedelic looking dresses. Something like a stunted mini-dress with bright colours or patterns on it. Gold, thick-heeled strappy shoes. Black-hearted eye makeup, with pale lip colour. Gold jewelry. Flip up the ends of your ringlets. Use glitter on your eyes as well. The 70s were very flashy.

im universal to a birthday party on saturday, and the theme is 70s. I was thinking something like Eric Forman's organization from That 70s Show on the episode where they went dancing in kenosha: white bellbottom pants and jacket, and risqu button upo long sleeve shirt. where can i find a jacket like this? and the pants, too?

try the salvation army,goodwill,any penuriousness store.they would definately have something groovy XDD google thrift stores in your area ^^

my backer is having a fancy dress party and i want to dress up like a 70s person, so something like a castigate with loads of bright flowers on or something.. anyone know any good shops?

loads on ebay go to womens clothes then breed in vintage, there will then be a list of years you want so just click on 70's

another on the whole good place to look is the charity shops

the only thrift stores I go to have intake 80s shoulderpadded power suits and old puff sleeved wedding gowns.

What are some style of the 70s?

Bell botttoms pants (for boys & girls), now you would call them flared legs; plank shoes; peasant skirts & dresses (sort of gypsy/indian style with lots of color); indian cotton shirts; disco shirts made of polyester (a type called Hukapoo was VERY popular) as well as polyester skirts & wrap dresses; well-disposed rings; puka shell necklace (similar to that white choker necklace that Ashton Kutcher wears on "That '70's Show"); one bag T-shirts or T-shirts with band names (nothing fancy); a high ankle workboot, also an "inventor" boot; workpants--i.e. painter's, carpenter's & engineer's pants; denim jumpsuits. Denim was the most accepted material!
