Does Anyone Where I Can Find A Fairly Cheap Medieval Style Costume That Is Of Good Quality?

My corse tutors hold off a fancy dress party for charity every year near christmas and i indigence to go as a kind of ice queen with a white cloak and everything but cannot find any dresses that will suit the character I hunger to go as. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How Can I Make An 1800's-style Costume Cheaply With Stuff From Goodwill, Wal-Mart, Etc. That Looks Authentic?

I'm flourishing to an 1800's battle reenactment, and I want to dress up. The battle took part during the War of 1812 in Indiana. I'd like to dress up either as an American or French woman. I'm on a budget, though, so I can at the end of the day only get things second-hand or from cheaper stores. What pieces should I be looking for?

Reading the style of outfits may may want; then look for similar ones. Some of these store have special areas with less ill or fancier clothes, so see if they have those in another room. You may have to buy dresses and change them to look of your desired style.

How To Get 1930's Hair/style For Costume Party?

I am goin to a 1930's style social gathering and i am not sure how to get my hair to look like its suppose to. Any ideas?
Also what about makeup?
My curls is medium length and is naturally straight

Even justifiable hair parted on the side and slicked back smoothly into a bun would work for 1930's. Make the brows qualify and extra long, and do very matte makeup (they didn't have a lot of sparkly makeup) with darker lips and eat one's heart out eyelashes. Carry a cigarette holder and think glamorous. :)

So for Halloween, ignore all that buying and wasting money crap so i decided to make my own costume, out of the closet! what im planing to do is be an army gal but mix it up with punkish too.. I need ideas pictures and tips. Or is that not a good idea... Remedy me out please!!

Any Ideas For A Tim Burton Style Halloween Costume?

I can't fasten!
Here's a little about me-
Shoulder length hair
pale w/ freckles
about 5'6
Also, please don't put the Corpse Bride, that's the only one that I don't honestly want to do

And if possible, could you put a how-to makeup thingy for your costume idea?

Plague your hair and hairspray it. Look at pictures of Helena Bonham Carter in the r for reference.

As for makeup, get black, purple and red eyeshadow. But the black on from your lower lid to good below the eyebrows, and below the eyes (carefully) as eyeliner. Then you can layer the purple and red for a bruised look. Have fun!
