Mens Fashion - Shoes For Dressier Pants?

I recently bought a matched set of navy blue pinstripe pants, they're not really suit pants but more of a dressier doublet of slacks. My problem is that I want to find a pair of shoes that are going to still be casual for jeans but not out of improper with these new pants. Does anyone have any general advice about what kind of shoes might have the versatility to work as a ritzy-casual shoe and what is definitely not acceptable with these? Thanks!

I attire dark brown shoes , kakis, and a dark brown belt. I need a new girdle now, is it ok to wear dark brown shoes and light brown belt?

also, if anyone knows of a website for men that explains all of this variety of stuff, matching and fashion? one that breaks it down in plain english for those of us who are not inclined to this kind of belongings yet want a basic understanding?

i'd say homologous would look smarter, but it really depends on the type of shoes and belt

It sounds like this guy in reality may have somewhat of a grasp on fashion, so ignore the girl saying Hollister - especially since he sounds older than 15...

I grant, boat shoes would look great, especially if you could find them in green to match the shirt.

Gladiator sandals (Mens) certainly would also look great, it is a look that Balenciaga does, and it is very chic.
