What Age Would You Consider Too Old To Be 'scene' (emo/hipster) From A Style Point Of View?

So I'm putting together a horror story for a project, and the female protagonist is young, 'emo', has awesome scene hair, wears funky 2008 new signal clothing... I'd like her to be college age, but at 30, I haz no idea what would be considered too old to finished that sort of style. Any opinions/input/links appreciated! Putting style/fads to wrapping paper can be really hard without messing it up or sounding false.
if your potential female is to be emo and in college you should give her lots of tattoos. otherwise she'd come off as immature and i don't think that's what you demand. i know lots of girls who look emo and are in their mid-twenties but they don't dress like strong school kids. they wear jeans and hoodies but have funky colored skin of one's teeth (black, blonde, and pink..) and asymmetrical haircuts. if you don't want her to be 'mainstream' give her tattoos and facial piercings.

I'm doing a derisive paper on how quickly styles change and I need some examples of things that are very in style speedily now that I could poke fun at, so anything in the clothing, accessories, hair, or makeup categories goes here.
By the way, I prerequisite to write the first draft of this paper by tonight, so please, any suggestions will be perfectly fine. Thanks!
Also, any styles that went out extensive ago and for good reason so that I can bring them back and glorify them in my paper would be helpful.

Fundamental value of a Prada Hand Bag I received from the UK.The trouble is I can't find an exact match in style anywhere online.So I either have a "Fake" or a true "One in a Miollion". I have the Certificate of Authenticity for it (Has the magnetic strip on the back, along with the ART, MATERIALE, COLORE, and TAGLIA.).My practical joker reads ART: M836 MATERIALE TESSUTO, COLORE EBANO, and TAGLIA is dazed, as is the space ware the shop wrights it's name and the date.The outer paper file card attached to the bag by string(The credit card like one was inside and unattached to anything.) reads lose different: ART B8888, NATERIALE in place of MATERIALE on inner card. Outter New Year card reads VELA. COLORE NERO on paper outer card and EBANO on inner acclaim card like one. TAGLIA is left blank again on outter card. Against and Date are also blank on outter paper card. Paper card has 3741in sad ink "Stampted" on a strip of paper that seams pasted to the physical card. It's uniqueness is the "Bow-Tie" of leather across it.
It sounds modify to me. The fact that the info on the cards is different is a huge red flag. You didn't say where you purchased this bag, but the adulthood of bags purchased online from places like eBay are fakes. It is hesitant that you have a "one in a million" bag.
