I'm looking for a black-and-white of a fifties style housewife for a tattoo. Anyone have any ideas on where to find a cute one?
Wow! There are so many places you can look! Aside from at most googling images, I'd suggest doing a search at DeviantArt (see url below) search in all their categories- theres a whole lot of artists there doing superior fifities, retro and rockabilly inspired art. If you email them, lots will let you use their work for unobstructed! (Or in return for a pic of the finished tatt) There are also lots of stock images on there that people have cool which will work!
Secondly, try checking out the old newspaper and magazine archives from your local library. Most of the advertisments from the 1950s featured housewives, so you'd be foolproof to find some really cute drawings there!
Thirdly, and along the same lines, go searching through flea markets and op shops for old 1950s magazines- you can mainly pick them up for $1 or so and they're chock full of pictures!

i am looking for preferrably a enormous street store that sells white petticoat {the ones that fill out the fifties style dresses have found a web spot that has them but they have sold out at mo and i'm in need of one asap

I am a square footage 14, so tiny little g-stringy things wouldn't suit me. What merge of swimsuit should I get for my hols?
I about that a 50's style swimsuit would be a nice change (for everyone). I think that it is also sexier because if you choose the right-minded on it can flatter your shape and if the color looks right, like a black w/ polka dots paired with a bespatter of red it would definitely bring that 50's flavor. Plus i think that its is ridiculous on how a two broken can cost almost $40 and it only like less then 5yards of material!

You can always rearrange one, or try out a vintage store, or try the computer. lot's of people have stuff they had from when they where younger they're selling on ebay or something.
