What Are The Best Web Sites For Upcoming Fashion Surf Trends And Styles?

If You Work At A Fashion Apparel Store, Do You Have To Wear Their Clothes?

And I importance of, do you have to wear their clothes while you're working there, in the store. Not everywhere, hahaaa.
I might get a job at American Apparel, do they give you their clothes, perceive b complete you buy them to wear them, or let you wear your own clothes?

I recollect for most stores they do this, well in the UK but u will probably get an allowance, something from £200 to £400, each term and you are expected to buy clothes from american apperal or the clothes boutique with that to wear to work, sorta like a uniform. With things like jeans or homely tops you can get them from other places using ur own money. xxx

I Want To Start A Custom Design Shop (fashion Apparel)?

I have a few more classes needed to take to secure my sewing skills, I am an expert sewer and would love to now start my own Alterations/ Fashion Excise Design (costumes, dresses, ect) company. I need some help in starting, should I first start in my cosy or by the interenet. I'm a marketing major and currently work for a major company, but I realized I crave to do something I love and w/ baby on the way working full time isnt going to be what I want to do anymore. I be acquainted with how to market, I just need help in starting up...Please help!!

i fantasize is better to the internet because is less expensive but you will have to have a lot of pictures of what you want to sale and a good webdesign.
I also indigence to start an online business.

To Be A Fashion Designer Would You Attend A Fashion School Or A 4 Year University Such As SFSU?

SFSU (San Francisco Land University).

I'm interested in Apparel Design and Merchandising Majors. Fashion schools like FIDM proposal 2 yr programs in Fashion Design and Merchandise, among others. SFSU offers a 4 year program, I accept, in the two areas I'm interested in: Fashion Design/Apparel Design and Merchandise.

Which is better? What are the pros and cons of both?

i concede with the second answer -- i'd choose a fashion school as well. they're more specialized, and offer courses that are more in-sagacity, whereas a non-fashion university would have a more generalized approach because they need to allocate a budget for professors and other resources to every responsibility at the school. for instance, if there aren't enough students enrolled in the fashion department one particular year at SFSU, budgeting might go towards the english part instead, or something.

plus, faculty at a fashion school probably have more extensive experience in the domain. not to mention contacts in the industry, for internships and mentorships.
