I definitely want to go to school for that. I live in LA so jobs would be easy, but I'm not sure how much I would be making, to do runway, weddings, photoshoots, etc.

Even if you're not completely up to tune with the standards at the salon, stylists will train you, you attend classes and workout (can't stress the practice enough).

I remember this might be sort of a strange question, but I was wondering where I could go to find archives and pictures of the makeup and hair on high fashion models. It's for a describe my friend and I were assigned in our fashion design class. Thanks in advance!
Also, please don't say obvious places like photobucket, flickr, google, etc. Please be precise, and give me like a photo archive from one of your favorite designers or something.
for runway shows they often pay for the girls' hair messy tangled and somewhat poofy......how can i do this? i know its not very classically drawing but im interested.......
lots and lots of teasing. where you comb the hair the vis- way. like they lift the hair upwards and brush downwards with a rat tail comb. & use lots and lots of hairspray. kinda sleek it out a BIT. and touch ups then BAM. :P

I sometimes see models with damaged tussled hair , and they are advertising for Gucci , Prada and other high fashion brands , why is this ? Do they not want viewers to woolly on NOT how beautiful a models hair is but how beautiful her garments are?
It's high fashion, it's theorized to be like art, and art is supposed to be looked at and catch attention or make you think, and if frizzy hair does that for the deviser, then that's that.
