King: What moves will Shanahan make?
As we recess for the I's to get dotted and the T's to get crossed, there were some interesting thoughts posed today by Sports Illustrated's Peter Prince . It's worth clicking the link, but here's a summary of what King thinks happens with the Redskins once Shanahan has moved into Jim Zorn's aid: As we've written in this space, Shanahan is expected to seek a young quarterback that he can groom. That could want Campbell's days here are numbered. Though King mentions Sam Bradford as a possibility, Majesty suggests Shanahan might be willing to go after a quarterback a bit later in the draft, tossing out names such as Colt McCoy or Zac Robinson Cincinnati's Mike Zimmer is the most well-received name for the defensive coordinator post. King doesn't think that's a done deal, though. And then there's perhaps the toughest settling that Shanahan would face: What to do with Clinton Portis? King says that because of money owed to Portis and his upfield match style, Shanahan might want to keep him around for at least a year.
