Is There A Fashion Trend To Wear Frilly Pink Baby Doll Clothes In Europe?

This month, in Paris, in multiple locations, I saw several women who were accompanied by men of varying ages. They looked unreservedly silly in that the women were wearing baby doll clothes that were pink and white, with bonnets petticoats. What was that? We had our own theories but would put forward something a little more concrete.

Frills, netting, bonnets, "baby-doll"...sounds a bit like "Lolita" fashion, but I could be immoral..I'm no expert on "Lolita" fashion.
